MERU- Medical Engineering Resource Unit
MERU (Medical Engineering Resource Unit), is a unique English Charity, using engineering skills to assist, and enhance the lives of children with disabilities.
MERU concentrates on designing and manufacturing a variety of bespoke equipment and devices to meet the individual needs of children with disabilities. They do this where there is no commercially available alternative.
MERU's general service supplies a variety of specialised products, educational aids and other equipment for use at home and school.
MERU also offers the service of the Interface Centre, which gives young people independent control of computers, communication aids and wheelchairs through the design and manufacture of bespoke solutions.
